The spread here opened at +13 before moving ever so slightly in the Clippers’ favor to +12.5. That’s a very generous spread for this series. LA has held strong in every game and is unlikely to just roll over with its backs on the wall.
Additionally, the Clippers had the second-best road record in the Western Conference this year so they’ve demonstrated the ability to win on the road.
There are a couple of interesting wagers here, both on some team props as well as player props. First, look for the Clippers to win the first quarter and cover the spread there. They’ve had success in games when they got off to a quick start and they’ll likely be trying to capitalize on that.
For player props, Westbrook is a solid bet on points and rebounds. He’s been on the glass a lot more this season and, especially in this series, has shown a real nose for the ball. Bet the over on his points and rebounds.
