Man killed after being thrown from his motorcycle in 3-vehicle crash in unincorporated Huntley

A motorcyclist died Saturday morning following a three-vehicle crash in unincorporated Huntley, the McHenry Sheriff’s Office said.

Daniel Ordoqui, 41, a Chicago man originally identified as being from Elgin, was thrown from his cycle about 9:30 a.m. after a 71-year-old man driving a 2015 Subaru Forester failed stop at the Route 47/Conley Road intersection and struck a 2008 Mini Cooper S whose 17-year-old driver was waiting on southbound Route 47 to take a left-hand turn onto Conley Road, the sheriff’s office report said.
