Fanatics promo code: Users in MA, MD, OH and TN can get $200 on MLB, all sports

Fanatics, the company best known for selling sports apparel, is sliding into the U.S. sports betting market with the new Fanatics Sportsbook app.

As of early August, the Fanatics Sportsbook app is available in four states: Massachusetts, Maryland, Ohio and Tennessee. Players there can claim $200 in bonus bets with a small $5 qualifying cash wager. No promo code is required for this promotion.

While Fanatics is somewhat limited currently, there is a reported acquisition deal with PointsBet U.S. in the works that would give them access to another four states: New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan.

Those four, in addition to the existing licenses that PointsBet U.S. has, would bring the total to 15 states in which Fanatics Sportsbook plans to incrementally launch by 2024.

As noted, this promotion is structured as a Bet and Get promotion so users will get the bonus bet allotment as soon as their $5 qualifying wager settles.

Rather than input a promo code to sign up, new desktop users will be asked to complete a brief survey before they can download the app.

Mobile users, however, will not be asked to complete a survey.

We’ll go into more detail about the nature of this Bet and Get promotion and the sign-up process in the paragraphs below.

Early access for Massachusetts, Maryland, Ohio and Tennessee

As mentioned above, Fanatics Sportsbook is somewhat limited in its distribution currently, with the beta version of the book available in Massachusetts, Maryland, Ohio and Tennessee.

Despite the term “beta” the Fanatics Sportsbook app functions as any other sportsbook, with users able to wager on everything from the MLB regular season to the Women’s World Cup.

This Bet and Get promotion will give new customers $200 in bonus bets with a qualifying cash wager of just $5. As soon as the qualifying wager settles, regardless of outcome, user will get $200 in bonus bets that can be used for any additional wager on the platform.

Notably, bonus bets cannot be withdrawn or cashed out without being wagered first. Any bonus bets earned from this promotion will be valid for up to seven days after distribution.

Better yet, the original Aug. 3 deadline for this promotion was extended until the end of August, so new players have the rest of the month to claim this offer.

So, if a user in Ohio places a $100 cash wager on the Cubs at +180 against the Braves, and Chicago wins, they’ll collect $180 in profit while keeping their $100 stake and get $200 in bonus bets for any additional wager on the platform.

Thus, a player could take home nearly $400 with a successful wager of just $100.

Critically though, only cash wagers will trigger this promotion so any wagers placed using any kind of credits will not qualify.

Fanatics Sportsbook sign-up details

The sign-up process at Fanatics Sportsbook is a bit different from other upstart books. For one, desktop users will be asked to complete a brief survey before they can wager. Mobile users will not need to complete the survey.

Beyond that, new players must meet a short list of conditions to take advantage of this offer. User must be at least 21 years old or older and present in a legal Fanatics Sportsbook state. As noted, players do not need to be a resident of one of those states but must be present within state limits which Fanatics will verify using geolocation data.

However, since this promotion does not require a promo code, eligible users can click on the modules displayed above and sign up for an account with the new sportsbook.

After that, new players will need to verify their new account and place a cash wager of at least $5 to trigger this promotion.

Regardless of how that cash wager settles, players will get $200 in bonus bets.

Any bonus bets earned from this promotion can be used for any additional wager on Fanatics Sportsbook but cannot be withdrawn or cashed out without being wagered first. Similarly, bonus bets are only valid for one wager a piece and thus will not be returned in the event of a successful wager.

Generally, bonus bets earned from this promotion will be distributed within 72 hours and will remain valid for up to seven days after distribution.
