Fanatics Sportsbook beta: Up to $200 in bonus bets and early app access for MA, MD, OH and TN

Fanatics, the apparel giant, is sliding head first into the sports betting market with beta access for users in four states and up to $200 in bonus bets as part of a generous new customer offer as part of the Fanatics Sportsbook launch.

While the new sportsbook is currently only available in four states, there are plans to expand into at least three more by the end of this summer.

The slated expansion will likely coincide with the finalization of the PointsBet US deal, which will reportedly close in late August.

The current Fanatics Sportsbook offer does not require a promo code, but the sign up process is a bit different from other books so we’ll explain the details and preview some of the best bets for Saturday in the paragraphs below.

Early access for Maryland, Massachusetts, Ohio and Tennessee

Many Americans sportsbooks have some kind of “bet and get” promotion for new users and this promotion is structured in a similar fashion.

Players will need to make a $5 qualifying wager and, once that first bet settles, they will get $200 in bonus bets.

As noted above, Fanatics Sportsbook is currently only available in four states — Maryland, Massachusetts, Ohio and Tennessee — but there are plans to expand into at least three more states by the end of the summer.

To claim this offer, new customers need to fill out the survey linked above at which point they’ll get a downloadable beta version of the app. While the app is still technically in the beta phase, it functions as a normal sportsbook and allows users complete access to all aspects of the sportsbook.

Once users place a their $5 qualifying wager, they’ll get $200 in bonus bets.

How to wager with Fanatics Sportsbook on Saturday

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Texas Rangers

The Blue Jays face off against the Rangers in Texas for Game 2 of three game series on Saturday afternoon.

Both teams have struggled a bit lately but both will have solid pitchers on the mound for this one.

The Rangers are still leading the AL West, with a three and a half game lead over their state rival the Astros, but have slipped a bit lately. They lost three games against the Angels in a recent four game series and have gone 4-6 over the last ten games.

The Blue Jays are trailing the Rays in the AL East by 11 games and while they’ve shown flashes of talent that could take them into October, right now it doesn’t seem likely.

Toronto has gone 5-5 over the last ten games but dropped two to the Orioles in a recent series and two to the Twins in the series before that. The Blue Jays have struggled to close out games well and their relief pitching has allowed some late runs that have been the deciding factor in close games.

Overall, back the Rangers here as they’ll steady the ship a bit against the struggling Jays.

Fanatics Sportsbook sign-up information

The Fanatics Sportsbook sign up process is a bit different from other sportsbooks. That being said, it is no more complicated nor does it require additional personal information.

To get access to the beta app, users need to fill out a survey linked here and below.

After that, they’ll get a downloadable version of the sportsbook and can wager as they would with any other book.

Critically though, players need to place a $5 cash wager to qualify for this promotion. Only real-money wagers, or cash wagers, will initiate this offer. Any wagers placed with bonus bets or any kind credit will not count toward the promotion.
