Fanatics Sportsbook beta sign-up bonus: Get $200 promo in Mass., Maryland, Ohio, TN all week

Fanatics is running its beta sportsbook app in Massachusetts, Maryland, Ohio and Tennessee, and new users can get up to $200 in bonus bets and early access to the new app when they sign up now.

Currently, Fanatics is only available in four states but that could change in the near future as the apparel company is slated to finalize a deal with PointsBet U.S. in late August that would put them in prime position for another dozen-state expansion by May 2024.

Early access for Maryland, Massachusetts, and Tennessee

The signup process and structure of this promotion is a bit different from the standard offers. First, since the app is technically still in the beta process, there is no actual promo code but rather a survey that new desktop users will be asked to fill out. Mobile users will not be asked to complete the survey.

Once they’ve finished the brief survey, players will be able to wager as they would on any other sportsbook. Survey requirements have no influence on the functionality of the app and both types of users will have access to the same app.

The term “beta” may be slightly misleading for readers. Despite the term, the current iteration of Fanatics Sportsbook is fully functional and allows users to wager exactly as they would on any other sports betting app.

This new customer offer is structured as a “bet and get” promotion so players can get $200 in bonus bets with a qualifying wager of just $5.

As opposed to standard, first bet insurance offers, this promotion does not require a user’s initial wager to settle as a loss for them to get bonus bets. This is one of the few promotions where users can collect their profits and still earn some bonus bets.

This bet and get promotion, which is valid from now until Aug.3, does not require a promo code and is available for any users in Massachusetts, Maryland, Ohio or Tennessee. Players do not need to be a resident of any of those states to take advantage of the offer but they must be within state limits which Fanatics Sportsbook will verify using geo-location data.

So, if a new user in Maryland places a $100 cash wager on the White Sox at +130 against the Twins and Chicago wins, they’ll collect $130 in profit, keep their $100 stake and get another $200 in bonus bets.

Thus, a player could collect more than $300 in just one wager.

Critically though, only cash wagers or cash deposits will trigger this offer. So any wagers placed using bonus bets will not qualify for this promotion.

Fanatics Sportsbook sign-up details

The sign-up process with Fanatics is unique. For one, it is the only sportsbook that requires some users to fill out a survey to download the app. Second, it does not require any promo code.

Desktop users will be asked to complete a brief survey about their operating system before being able to download the app. After that point they’ll be free to wager on the app as they would on any other sportsbook.

Essentially, users will get $200 in bonus bets once their $5 qualifying wager settles — regardless of how it settles.

As is the case with all welcome offers, this promotion is limited to new customers who are at least 21 years old and present in a legal Fanatics Sportsbook state. While players do not need to be a resident of that state, they must be within state limits which Fanatics will verify using geo-location data.

If users meet all those requirements, they can click any of the modules displayed throughout this article to sign up for a Fanatics Sportsbook account. From there, they’ll need to make a cash deposit of at least $10 to register their account.

After that, players will need to place a real-money wager of at least $5 to initiate this promotion. Regardless of how that wager settles, players will get $200 in bonus bets that can be used for any additional wagers on the platform.

As is the case with all wager credits though, they cannot be cashed out or withdrawn without being wagered first. Additionally, any bonus bets earned from this promotion will only be valid for one wager a piece and thus will not be returned in the event of a successful wager.
