Fanatics Sportsbook beta: Get $200 promo offer and early access in Massachusetts, Maryland, Ohio and TN

The sports apparel giant Fanatics is sliding head first into the sports betting market with beta access for users in four states and $200 in bonus bets as part of their new customer offer. This offer comes as Fanatics Sportsbook is hoping to expand into several more states by the end of the year.

While the new sportsbook is currently only available in four states, as noted above there are reports of a potential three-state expansion at the end of the summer as part of the PointsBet U.S. deal.

This current Fanatics Sportsbook new customer offer does not require a promo code, but there are some quirks to the sign-up process that we’ll outline below.

To sign up for this promotion from a desktop, users will be asked to take a brief survey about their operating system. Users who are claiming this offer from their iOS devices will not need to fill out the survey.

Early access for Maryland, Massachusetts, Ohio and Tennessee

Most American bettors will be familiar with the structure of the Fanatics Sportsbook new customer offer as many different books have some kind of “bet and get” deal.

Essentially, players can get $200 in bonus bets once their first cash wager over a specified amount settles. This is notably different from some other welcome offers where a player’s first bet must settle as a loss for them to get the bonus bets.

Players will get their bonus bet allotment regardless of whether that cash wager settles as a win or a loss.

Players need to make a $5 qualifying cash wager to trigger this offer. Critically, this first wager must be a real-money wager. That is, only bets placed with cash will qualify for this promotion as wagers placed with bonus bets or other kinds of credits will not qualify for this offer.

As mentioned above, currently Fanatics is only available in four states: Massachusetts, Maryland, Ohio and Tennessee. However, there are plans for a potential expansion — including Illinois — later this year as part of the PointsBet U.S. deal, if it closes.

How to wager with Fanatics Sportsbook on Wednesday

Boston Red Sox vs. Minnesota Twins

The Red Sox are at Target Field in Minneapolis for Game 3 of a four-game series against the Twins.

Boston has easily won the previous two games, putting up nine and 10 runs respectively. The Sox have been swinging well this season and with right-hander Sonny Gray on the mound for the Twins, Boston may have a chance to put up a few more.

Another interesting storyline here is the differences in each league. The Red Sox are last in the AL East and the Twins are first in the AL Central but Boston has a better record than Minnesota, which speaks to the strength of the AL East this season.

Garrett Whitlock will be on the mound for Boston, which could pose some issues for Minnesota. He’s been racking up a lot of strikeouts in his recent starts and the Twins have been striking out a lot.

While Sonny Gray has been good this season, he’s older now and doesn’t have the longevity he previously did, which presents an opportunity for a talented Red Sox lineup.

The Twins are -120 favorites at home here with the O/U at 8.5. Look for this one to go over again and back the Sox on the moneyline here as they’ll have a chance to get another victory in Minnesota.

Fanatics Sportsbook sign-up details

Signing up with Fanatics is a bit different than other sportsbooks. If users are signing up from a desktop, they’ll need to complete a brief survey — which we’ve linked above — before they can download the app.

However, users who are signing up from a mobile device can simply click the module above and get access to the beta app.

In this instance, the term beta can be slightly misleading as it implies an unfinished product. That is not the case here. You can bet, deposit, and withdraw like any other book.

Once eligible users have completed the survey or downloaded the app, they will need to make a small deposit of at least $10 and place a cash wager of at least $5 to trigger this promotion.

After that cash wager settles, either as a loss or a win, users will get up to $200 in bonus bets.

Any bonus bets earned from this promotion cannot be withdrawn or cashed out. Similarly, bonus bets are only valid for one wager each and thus will not be returned in the event of a successful wager.

  • Once you’ve filled out the survey, you’ll get an exclusive download link for the sportsbook
  • After that, you’ll be prompted to verify your identity, in accordance with Know Your Customer regulations
  • You’ll create your Fanatics account using the same email you used for the survey
  • Users will need to place a $5 cash wager to trigger the promotion
  • Once that wager settles, users will get $200 in bonus bets
