Georgia favored to repeat as champions

Georgia had many doubts and dealt with complacency at some points in the year such as almost losing to Missouri. While losing most of their defense to the NFL draft, they continued to dominate on the defensive side holding opponents to under 15 points per game on average.

However, they just escaped a thriller against Ohio State in the semifinal Peach Bowl. Georgia was down 41-35 with under three minutes to go as well as being down 14 points two different times in the game.

Giving up 41 points was uncharacteristic of this Georgia defense. In the matchup against TCU, they will look to keep the game low scoring and a defensive struggle which will play to their advantage.

The O/U has moved through the week up to 63 points. This is too high to consider as Georgia will look to keep it low scoring and play their style of football.
