FanDuel promo code creates $150 in bonus bets for NBA, other games on Monday

New York Knicks forward Julius Randle (30) goes up for a shot against Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo (13) during the first half of Game 3 of an NBA basketball second-round playoff series, Saturday, May 6, 2023, in Miami.

The current FanDuel promo code generates a brilliant deal for new bettors. New players can get $150 in bonus bets with just a $5 qualifying wager with no promo code required. Users can simply click one of the modules below and place a first wager on the platform to unlock this offer.

Since this promotion is legal in every FanDuel state, Illinois bettors can also claim this offer.

Most of the other welcome offers mention some kind of “first bet insurance” or even “first bet on the house” and while these are solid offers, they don’t guarantee players any bonus bets unless the first wager loses.

With this promotion though, users will get $150 in bonus bets as soon as they place the $5 qualifying wager.

FanDuel ‘bet $5, get $150′ promotion

As mentioned above, this promotion is structured differently from the standard welcome offers. With most new customer promotions, players will have to settle their first wager as a loss to get any bonus bets. However, this offer will dole out $150 in bonus bets as soon as the user places a $5 qualifying wager.

No waiting on the wagers to settle, users can get their bonus bets immediately.

We’ll go over some more relevant conditions in the paragraphs below, but critically users must place a cash wager as only real-money wagers will qualify for this promotion. So any wagers placed using credits or bonus bets will NOT trigger this promotion.

Additionally, since this offer doesn’t require a promo code, users can claim these bonus bets by simply clicking one of the modules throughout this article and inputting the relevant information at sign up.

If new users placed a $100 real-money wager on the Knicks at +155 against the Heat and New York won, the user would get their full stake returned, profit $155 and get $150 in bonus bets.

If they placed that wager and the Heat won, the new users would still get $150 in bonus bets, but the cash would be gone.

As far as bonus bets, they work like a credit of sorts. If that player placed a bonus bet wager of the same amount on the Heat and Miami won, they’d collect $155 in profit but would not keep their stake as bonus bets are only valid for one wager, and would not get bonus bets as they did not place a cash wager.

How to use the FanDuel promo on Tuesday

New York Knicks vs. Miami Heat

The Knicks face off against the Heat in Miami’s Kaseya Center for Game 4 of this unexpected series.

The first two games were close throughout but Miami pulled away at the end of Game 3. Both teams have had trouble shooting in that game, with the Knicks finishing with an abysmal 20 percent from deep and the Heat posting a similar three-point percentage. Also, both teams shot below 40 percent from the field in that game.

Notably though, the Heat did shoot nine more free throws than the Knicks and dominated the paint. Beyond that, most of the stats were similar during that game.

Game 4 will be a critical one for the Knicks, as going back to New York down 3-1 will drastically hurt their chances to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.

There are some intriguing player props here though. First, we’ll focus on Jimmy Butler. Most books have him at 1.5 threes tonight, which seems a little high. Bet the under there as Jimmy will be doing most of his work inside the three-point line in this one.

Additionally, Josh Hart has been playing well throughout the series. He’s posted rebounding and points double-doubles in two of the three games and is a solid option for points and rebounds on Monday night. Most books have him at 19.5 which is a solid output for a guard. He’ll get another chance to haul in some long rebounds in this one, back the over here.

The Heat are 4.5-point favorites at home with the O/U at 208.5. The total seems about right based on the pace these two teams play at and how they’ve been shooting lately. After the near 20-point blowout in Game 3, the Knicks will respond strong here and keep this game close, but it’s not clear if they’ll have enough to get the win on the road.

Bet the Knicks to cover the narrow spread as this one will go down to the wire.
