FanDuel’s current promotion creates up to $150 in bonus bets for new players when they place a qualifying wager of at least $5. Unlike other welcome offers, users will get these bonus bets regardless of how the qualifying wager settles. Memphis will face off against LA in the Crypto.com Arena Monday night for a critical Game 4 on TNT.

The Grizzlies need a win to stave off the streaking Lakers here and avoid going down 3-1 in the first round. Memphis lost Game 3 by 10 despite a 45-point, 13-assist double-double from Ja Morant. That game, as much of the series, was marked by physical play and generally poor shooting from deep.

Memphis shot 33.3 percent from three which was, surprisingly, better than LA as they finished at 25 percent from deep. The Lakers were dominant in the key, putting up 58 points in the paint, as the Grizzlies had no defensive answer in the paint with Steven Adams still out.

The Lakers jumped out to a commanding 35-9 lead at the end of the first quarter. While the Grizzlies won the second and fourth quarter by double digits, it wasn’t enough to recover from a brutal start, and the Lakers cruised to a relatively easy victory.

Both teams have been heavily reliant on the drive and kick through the first three games. Though neither team has really succeeded with the kick part, the points in the paint have been a relevant factor in both wins for the Lakers and the Grizzlies’ one one in Game 2.

Penetration will likely be a big factor in Game 4 as well with Adams still out and the Lakers shooting an awful percentage from deep in the previous two games.

While Xavier Tillman had an awful Game 1, he bounced back with more than 10 rebounds in the following two game. He’ll have a chance to collect a ton of boards again in Game 4. Most books have him currently at 8.5.

Overall, the Lakers are 4.5-point favorites with the O/U at 221.5. The Game 1 total was more on anomaly than an indicator of the series as a whole. Neither team has been shooting the ball especially well from deep so there’s a play on the under here.
